Mister Rogers arrives with a swimming cap, goggles, and a pair of hand fins. Putting on all of these things, he pretends to swim around the room before remembering a time when he visited Jay Styperk, a para-Olympic swimmer.

After Mister Rogers sings I'm Taking Care of You, Maggie Stewart stops by and sings and signs the same song. Mister Rogers loans her his hand fins.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mayor Maggie arrives at the castle for a meeting with King Friday. Handyman Negri comes out to inform Mayor Maggie that King Friday is running late after losing track of time during a swim. While they wait, they sing Let's Think of Something To Do While We're Waiting. Queen Sara steps out to ask if either of them have seen King Friday's crown as it has gone missing during the King's swim.

Mayor Maggie leaves a note at the tree for X and Henrietta to make them aware of the missing crown. Meanwhile, King Friday hesitantly enters the castle garden wearing his swimming cap and goggles. Mayor Maggie is given a two-sided sign to wear around her neck -- one side reads "Royal Looker" and the other "Royal Finder." She is to wear the "Royal Looker" side facing out as she searches for the King's crown. Once the crown is located, she can then turn the sign to the other side.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers uses a paper bag to make a crown which he decorates as he sings I Think I'm Going to Like Today. Jay Styperk stops by to do some exercises with Mister Rogers. After exercising, Mister Rogers gives the paper crown to his friend.

Notes

During the segment featuring Mister Rogers and Jay Styperk swimming, various songs can be heard playing in the background such as You Are Special and Please Don't Think It's Funny.

In Episode 1516, Queen Sara suggests that she and King Friday store their crowns on their heads so that they always know where they are. Apparently, King Friday has forgotten this practice in this episode.

This is the first episode following the death of Johnny Costa in October 1996.
