Mayor Maggie is the Mayor of Westwood and often has meetings with King Friday in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. She typically conducts her work along with her Associate Mayor, Charles R. Aber (Neighbor Aber).

Mayor Maggie is fluent in sign language and occasionally signs and signs songs with others in the Neighborhood.

Mayor Maggie once served as Queen for a day in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe after switching roles with Queen Sara Saturday.[1]

Having appeared in a two Neighborhood operas/plays, Mayor Maggie played the part of a beaver in the opera A Key to Otherland [2] and that of Mrs. Giraffe in Josephine the Short-necked Giraffe. [3] [4] [5]
