Mister Rogers arrives with a ball float to repair a broken one in his toilet. Taking it to the bathroom, he removes the old float and replaces it with the new one before flushing the toilet and showing how it works. Showing the other drains in the bathroom, Mister Rogers sings You Can Never Go Down the Drain.

Maggie Stewart stops by with a book called Signs For Us that can help Mister Rogers learn some basic signs like "hello," "friend," and "house." While she is there Mister Rogers shows her his "1-4-3" sign for "I Love You" and together they sign and sign Let's Think of Something To Do While We're Waiting.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin is at the Eiffel Tower asking Grandpere if he has seen Purple Panda. Even though he has not, Lady Aberlin's luck quickly changes as she visits the Platypus Mound. Ana Platypus has just returned from a swim with Purple Panda and says that he was planning to visit Westwood before going home to Planet Purple.

At the castle, Mayor Maggie arrives from Westwood along with Purple Panda. Lady Aberlin retrieves the package for Purple Panda from the castle's P Room but it disappears once again as soon as Purple Panda tosses it in the air.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers goes outside where he has a red wagon. He talks about the different ways he used his wagon when he was a child. One such way was to use it as a resting place for some of the things he really cared about. After Mister Rogers sings I'm Taking Care of You, Mr. McFeely stops by with a videotape about how people make toy wagons.

Notes

After removing the broken ball float from his toilet, Mister Rogers mentions that he will look into recycling it as he never throws anything away without first trying to find another use for it.

As Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely talk about the red wagons they had as children, Mr. McFeely mentions that he used his wagon to carry papers on his paper route -- a job that he says led to his current Speedy Delivery service.
