Mister Rogers arrives with a jack-in-the-box which he demonstrates for viewers. Comparing the jack-in-the-box to the games of peek-a-boo and hide-and-seek, Mister Rogers plays both with viewers as he explains that these games teach patience.

Checking on the progress of the bean plant, Mister Rogers finds that it has grown significantly since the last time he looked.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Purple Panda has returned with a bottle of 4P (Planet Purple Plant Powder) for the Big Thing. At the clock, a note from Daniel explains that he has gone for a walk with Robert Troll and the Big Thing. Purple Panda sprays 4P on the vines at the clock and they immediately produce flowers. Prince Tuesday arrives and asks Purple Panda to spray him with the 4P but Purple Panda explains to him that he should just continue growing the way that boys grow -- "that is the way you will get to be a man."

At the castle, King Friday builds the confidence of Prince Tuesday by explaining that he is growing just at the right pace. Meanwhile, Purple Panda applies some 4P to the Big Thing which immediately sprouts a large flower.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers visits Francois Clemmons and the Harlem Spiritual Ensemble who are rehearsing nearby. Among other songs, the group performs I'll Think of You. Returning to his house, Mister Rogers concludes by singing I'll Think of You.
