Daniel Tiger is pretending to be an airplane as he plays with Katerina Kittycat and his sister Margaret. They "fly" to the top of the slide but Margaret is too small to climb the steps. Mom Tiger notices that Margaret is upset and suggests that they "find a way for everyone to play." Daniel and Katerina begin to fly through the tunnel under the steps -- a lower area much easier for Margaret to navigate.
Max and his big sister, Amira, arrive at the playground. Daniel and Katerina say hello but Amira reminds them that sometimes Max needs some extra time before he's ready to play with friends. After playing the xylophone alone, Max invites Katerina to join him which leaves Daniel feeling left out. Amira helps by dancing with Daniel to the beat of the music. Daniel make-believes that he is dancing on a really big xylophone.
Katerina and Daniel trade roles as the music and dancing continues.
