Upon his arrival, Mister Rogers does not put on his sneakers because he has something planned for later where he will need to have his shoes off. He arrives with what appears to be a pillow but is actually a soft carrier holding soft book.

Mister Rogers folds out the hide-a-bed feature in his couch and reads the book -- Daniel Striped Tiger Gets Ready for Bed. As he gets comfortable, he mentions that this is the reason he did not put on his sneakers. After reading the book, Mister Rogers talks about being a young boy and wondering what his parents were doing after he went to bed.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, it is night time and HulaMouse has left in search of Little Panda and Prince Tuesday while everyone else seems to be having trouble sleeping. Finally, HulaMouse returns with Little Panda and Prince Tuesday safe and sound.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers visits Negri's Music Shop where violinist Hilary Hahn is playing. She and Mr. Negri play Tree Tree Tree while Mister Rogers sings along
