THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHIVE - All Things Mister Rogers | ||
Episode 0095 Air Date: June 28, 1968 Mister Rogers goes to the kitchen and uses flour and water to make a paste. Using the paste with colored paper and various other art supplies that he brought with him, he creates a picture of a flower and sings Let's Be Together Today. Handyman Negri stops by and joins Mister Rogers in the kitchen where he makes a collage of his own. As they work, Handyman Negri talks about the excitement in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe due to the presence of Sara Saturday. He mentions that King Friday is even redecorating a room for her in the castle. In the Neighbohrood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri stops by the Museum-Go-Round where he picks up a supply of wallpaper for the new room at the castle. Between the Museum and the castle, Handyman Negri stops to show the wallpaper to X the Owl and Henrietta Pussycat. Inside the castle, Handyman Negri finds King Friday observing as Mr. Schwardron hangs wallpaper in the new room. Back at the house, Mister Rogers cleans up his art supplies as he concludes for the week. NotesThis appears to be the first episode where the fish tank is located next to the stop light where it would be seen for years to come. As Mister Rogers and Handyman Negri create their artwork, Let's Be Together Today plays in the background. As Mr. Schwardron hangs wallpaper, You Have To Learn Your Trade plays in the background. Although the episode is filmed in black and white, it is suggested several times that the wallpaper in the castle's new room is blue. Appearing In This EpisodeGuests
