Daniel is playing doctor with Tigey when his mom lets him know he has a real check-up scheduled for today. She explains that sometimes you go to the doctor even when you are not sick. Daniel is feeling nervous but his mom explains exactly what to expect during the visit to the doctor. As she talks, she draws a series of pictures for Daniel.
At Dr. Anna's office, Daniel and his mom sit in the waiting room where Daniel looks at a fish tank. He make-believes that the fish are going to the have a check-up, too.
Dr. Anna invites Daniel back into an exam room where she checks his heart, eyes, throat, height, and weight. To help Daniel feel comfortable, Dr. Anna gives Tigey a check-up, too. She even lets Daniel listen to his own heartbeat. For cooperating during his check-up, Daniel is given a heart sticker by Dr. Anna.
Back in the waiting room, O the Owl is nervously waiting for a check-up of his own. Daniel gives him the pictures drawn by his mother to help him feel better.
Together with his mom and Dr. Anna, Daniel sings about going to the doctor and experiencing new things.
