Celebrity Cookbook

Date: 1988
Author: McGinnis Sisters Special Food Stores

Details from the book:

We at McGinnis Sisters were so excited when asked to be a part of the St. Peter's Child Development Centers Celebrity Cookbook! Many think that being around food night and day would make us tired of it. On the contrary! All three of us have taken our mother's wonderful love for cooking and made it our own.

Having a job where you have to come up with new and exciting recipes for both the family and the business is fun and exciting. And of course, we get to taste everything ... which doesn't help the hips.

And so, we went through our papers, notes and recipe cards, and asked our husbands and kids what they like so that we could bring our favorite recipes together for you. Some of the ingredients we call for in our recipes are available exclusively at McGINNIS SISTERS stores. So if you don't know where we are, we have three locations on Rt. 51 in Brentwood, next to the V.F.W.; in the Penn Center Shopping Center in Monroeville, next to Lee Wards and the Appliance Store; and our original -- Custer Avenue down from St. Wendelin's Church in Baldwin. Please stop in and say hello!

The opportunity to share som of our treasured family recipes was an honor for us. We thank you for letting us be a part of your project.
