A 45RPM record was produced as a promotional item for the original release of this album and a one-sided floppy record was produced to promote the 1972 Columbia release. Both include the song You Are Special.

On Episode 1095, Mister Rogers picks up a copy of this album's 1970 release from Negri's Music Shop.

The 1972 Columbia release of this album included a "Sometimes People Are Good" poster.
