Episode 1186

Air Date: May 3, 1971
Previous Episode: 1185
Next Episode: 1187

Mister Rogers arrives with a collection of empty detergent bottles which he has gathered for Bob Brown. As he rinses the bottles in the kitchen, he sings I Like To Take My Time.

As Mister Rogers goes to visit the Browns, Judy Brown and her son Mike are just leaving to pick up some material from Betty's Little Theater. Inside, Bob Brown shows several puppets he has made from empty plastic bottles before his wife and son return with material they use to complete a puppet creation in progress.

At Brockett's Bakery, Chef Brockett is on his way to the gym for some exercise and Mister Rogers purchases some donuts after talking with Mrs. Schenk about some Spanish words.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers uses an envelope to make a very simple puppet.

Notes

This is one of the few episodes of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood which does not feature a Neighborhood of Make-Believe segment.
