Randy S. Caribou is a visitor to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and founding member of the boy-girl-reindeer-tiger team.[1] Somewhat foolish and clumsy in nature, the good-natured caribou is recognized by Lady Elaine Fairchilde as a rangifer (reindeer).[2]

Randy likes to sing and is invited to appear on Lady Elaine's television show.[3] He enjoys playing games such as hide and seek[4] and works with others in the Neighborhood to form an all-inclusive team -- the pussycat-owl-king-woman-dog-boy-girl-reindeer-tiger team.[5] When he leaves the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Randy gives his team uniform to Lady Elaine Fairchilde who replaces him on the team.[6]
