Dr. David Crippens is a Neighborhood physician. Once when Mr. McFeely was feeling ill, Dr. Crippens made a housecall to the McFeely home where he suggested that Mr. McFeely may need some rest from his stressful Speedy Delivery job.[1]

A husband and a father, Dr. Crippens is asked about his family when he and Mister Rogers see one another.[2][3]

Dr. Crippens is a fan of music -- specifically "soothing guitar music to [help him] relax at the end of the day."[4]
