Misterogers (CBC, 1/31/1964)

Mister Rogers is operating a mechanical toy crane and uses it to move blocks into a container. He describes how real cranes are operated by people and sings You Have To Learn Your Trade.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mrs. Frogg uses the Trolley to deliver a storybook to Mister Rogers. The book – Hickey Happyfoot and His Tunnels – is read by Mister Rogers as Mrs. Frogg shares illustrations from the Museum-Go-Round. The story is about a boy who is very interested in learning about tunnels.

When the story is finished, Mister Rogers concludes by singing Goodnight God.


Notes

During the credits, King Friday is seen walking one of his pet birds at the castle.
