In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Tadpole Frogg is exercising with Captain Blye. When Tad suggests that one of the exercises makes Captain Blye look like a monkey, Captain Blye shows how a person can pretend to be a frog while exercising as well. Tad is disappointed that he’s been “trying for eight days” and he’s still not a frog. Captain Blye reminds him that he’s growing. Together they sing I Am a Pilot / I Am a Tadpole. Captain Blye approaches the three where he notices that Henrietta Pussycat and X the Owl are not moving very much. As they see him coming closer, Henrietta and X hurry to begin exercising. When asked about their physical activity, X stays within the boundaries of truthfulness: “We’ve been practicing ever since we saw you.” Captain Blye encourages X and Henrietta to continue practicing their exercises regularly and sings You Have To Learn Your Trade. X confuses Captain Blye and Henrietta when he suggests that he would like to learn how to bark. He clarifies this when he tells them that Lady Elaine Fairchilde has asked him to be a “barker” at the upcoming Fun Fair. Captain Blye demonstrates how to be a barker by excitedly calling out to those in attendance at the Fun Fair. Henrietta agrees to help X practice his barking. Back at the house, Mister Rogers concludes with a portion of You Have To Learn Your Trade.Appearing In This Episode
