Network: Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Air Date: December 2, 1963

Mister Rogers talks to a live parrot -- Polly -- and gives it a cracker. Mentioning that he likes Polly whether he talks or not, Mister Rogers sing I Like You As You Are.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Captain Blye struggles to carry three jugs of water he has brough back from the Seine River in Paris. Stopping at the clock, Daniel Striped Tiger suggests that Captain Blye drink some of the water to quench his thirst. Captain Blye explains that the water is for the new fountain in Make-Believe so Daniel retreives a glass of fresh drinking water for him to drink. Comparing the water in the glass with the water in the jugs, they look very similar. Daniel knows that the only way he can be sure they are different is to trust Captain Blye and take him at his word.

Mrs. Frogg is delighted to see water being added to the pond and says she is planning to ask Daniel if she and her family could live there.

Notes

The pond currently belongs to Daniel Striped Tiger -- a gift he received from Henrietta Pussycat who sent it back to Make-Believe during her trip to Paris.
