The Baby is HereEpisode: 202 Daniel Tiger and his family are excited as they make final preparations for the baby's arrival. Mom and Dad leave for Dr. Ana's office while Daniel stays at home with Grandpere. Showing the baby's room to his grandfather, Daniel finds a box of his baby toys including one of his favorite books -- "Margaret's Music." After reading the book, he decides that it would make a great gift for the baby. At the park with Grandpere, Daniel joins Miss Elaina and Prince Wednesday who are there with Music Man Stan. Remembering "Margaret's Music," Daniel and his friends make-believe that they are babies playing music. Mr. McFeely arrives with news that the baby has arrived! At Dr. Ana's office, Daniel is introduced to his new baby sister. As he holds her, he talks about reading "Margaret's Music." Dad Tiger mentions that his grandmother's name was Margaret and together everyone decides this will be the baby's name as well. Daniel tries to give the book to Margaret but she is crying. He helps prepare the baby carriage instead. Leaving the hospital, the Tiger family happily introduces Margaret to the whole Neighborhood. At home, Daniel helps by showing Margaret the rooms of the house. He tries again to give her the book but she cries again. Dad Tiger explains that baby's cry when they need something. After Margaret has her diaper changed, Daniel helps to calm her by reading to her from "Margaret's Music." SongsAppearing In This Episode
NotesGrandpere mentions that his mother's name was Margaret. On the way to the park, Daniel says that it is "very very very hard to wait" for the baby to arrive. This refers to It's Hard to Wait -- a song from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
