Daniel is at school with his friends on a windy day and the children are allowed to choose where they will eat their snack. Encouraging the children to stop, think, and choose, Teacher Harriet counts the votes and determines that the children will eat inside.

Prince Wednesday is clearly disappointed by the outcome of the vote but is encouraged by Teacher Harriet to find something good about eating inside.

When circle time comes around, Teacher Harriet tells the children that they will getting a pet in their classroom -- either a turtle or a rabbit. As they stop, think, and choose, Daniel make-believes that he is playing with a turtle and a bunny. The votes are cast and the children choose a rabbit as their pet. Mr. McFeely arrives promptly with the classroom's new rabbit which they name Snowball.
