The Children's Corner: Episode 4092Broadcast Date: Undetermined Josie begins by singing the Why Hi Song and explaining the plan for the day. Daniel emerges from his clock wearing an apron someone sent him that says “Daniel the hamburger king”. He is planning a “day after” party (to celebrate the day after yesterday) and is planning to make “rhubarb marshmallow liver-pudding fruit-cake hamburger.” Unfortunately he does not have any marshmallows, rhubarb, liver pudding, or fruit cake – only hamburger. After Josie provides Daniel with an oven thermometer, she goes to ask X and Henrietta for the lacking ingredients. After singing I Wonder, Josie knocks on X-scape’s knothole. X has learned to count to 12 and he and Josie sing a song that helps them remember how to count to twelve. Josie also knocks at Henrietta’s schoolhouse. Unfortunately neither X-scape nor Henrietta have any of the ingredients Daniel needs. Henrietta does, however, have a lemon and X has a stalk of celery and some white paint, which they give to Josie. Pausing the search for ingredients, Josie introduces Tony Greco and then reads a story called "Clyde the Zipper" while Mr. Greco draws pictures to accompany the story, along with background music. Resuming her ingredients search, Josie calls Calendarland to make an appointment with King Friday using a telephone. Josie pays a brief visit to King Friday who has been out picking bananas in order to send one to Daniel. Returning to Daniel, Josie gives him the items she has collected. He decides to change the menu and serve “lemon celery white-paint banana hamburger” instead of “rhubarb marshmallow liver-pudding fruit-cake hamburger.” Daniel returns a few minutes later with a cooked patty. Josie tries it and decides that it tastes good – “you can taste the white paint but you can’t taste the lemon.” Josie talks briefly about some of the things they do on The Children’s Corner and then concludes by singing the So Long Song.
