The Life & Legend of Mister Rogers

On January 23, 2015, an audience gathered at Pittsburgh's Heinz History Center to celebrate the recent opening of an exhibit featuring several original pieces from the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood set. As part of this event, the audience was treated to an hour-long lecture from former FCI president, Eliot Daley who shared some perspective on the success of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, how it resonated with children, and Fred Rogers' brilliant ability to communicate with young viewers.

Notes

Although Mr. Daley used a slideshow as a supplement to his presentation, the video shared by the Heinz Center does not show the screen.

Guests in the audience included David Newell and Hedda Sharapan.

Mr. Daley is introduced by Dr. Andy Masich, President and CEO of the Heinz History Center.
