Mister Rogers arrives with a wooden gymnastics toy which he demonstrates slowly and quickly before Mr. McFeely stops by. In preparation for a visit with Chainey Umphrey (as promised in Episode 1681), Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely watch a video of Chainey's previous visit to the Neighborhood.

After the film, Mister Rogers sings It's the Style to Wear a Smile before going to visit Chainey Umphrey at the gymnasium. Viewers are treated to an impressive gymnastics demonstration and a lesson in hard work. While at the gym, Mister Rogers even tries out the foam pit used for practice landings.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Neighbor Aber have built a contraption over the Trolley tracks to help them catch the speeding Trolley. Their plan is to tickle the Trolley as it passes by in hopes of getting it to slow down long enough to have its control box checked. As Neighbor Aber is explaining the situation to King Friday, Lady Elaine has climbed atop the structure. Feeling dizzy, Lady Elaine takes a fall but luckily lands in a box of feathers being carried by Lady Aberlin. King Friday issues a royal decree stating that the next time the Trolley is on the tracks, it will slow down. Despite their efforts, the Trolley speeds by on a different track than usual.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about the importance of being careful and planning things well before he sings I'm Proud of You.

Notes

Always concerned with answering any questions young viewers may have, Mister Rogers makes a point to ask Chainey Umphrey about the supportive tape on his wrists: "You don't have any cut under there?" In response, Chainey smiles politely and explains that he does not wear the tape because of an injury but to help prevent one.

A boom mic can be seen in the scene where Mister Rogers grabs a foam cube. One can also be seen when Chainey Umphrey goes on the bar after Mister Rogers leaves.

As the episode transitions to the gymnasium, It's the Style to Wear a Smile plays in the background. Returning to the house, You Are Special plays. Later, when Mister Rogers talks about Lady Aberlin bringing the feathers just in time, Pretending can be heard.

The clip of Chainey Umphrey's previous Neighborhood visit comes from Episode 1566.
