Mister Rogers arrives with a spinning display showing images of various object which he shows one at a time through an open square on the spinning cover. He also shows how his leg is still there when covered with a sock and his face is still there when covered with a sweater. Mister Rogers then sings Please Don't Think It's Funny.

Mrs. McFeely calls and invites Mister Rogers to see an animal at her house. At the McFeely house, Mister Rogers meets Chico, a Capuchin monkey, which climbs on the shoulders of he and Mrs. McFeely. Together they watch a film about chimpanzees which was left by Mr. McFeely.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Oliver Circus Clown asks King Friday to allow Purple Panda to join his circus. King Friday agrees as long as the circus will perform for him as soon as possible. Miss Paulificate is unhappy with the fact that Oliver Circus Clown has left so soon as she calls Yoshi Ito to request her service for Oliver and Purple Panda.

Back at the house, Mister Rogers goes to the sand table where he builds a cake before leading into an animation of various circus animals.

Notes

During the animation, two elephants lock trunks as the background instrumental plays a short portion of We Are Elephants.

This same animated short is used in Episode 1232.
