Sir Thomas T. Tune came to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe at the request of King Friday XIII. Finding out that Prince Tuesday was playing musical instruments at school and not learning about "international diplomacy,"[1] he requests the tutoring services of Sir Thomas Tune.[2]

Tall in stature and kind in nature, Sir Thomas becomes very popular throughout the Neighbohrood and convinces King Friday to allow for a combination of various teaching methods at the school.[4]
