Chrissy Thompson is the daughter of Judy Thompson. She her sisters Becky and Terri Thompson are the grandchildren of Mr. McFeely and Mrs. McFeely.[1] They occasionally come to visit their grandparents and at times have stopped by Mister Rogers' house.

Chrissy wears braces on her legs as a result of spina bifida and talks openly about her condition.

A character named Chrissie was later featured on Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Just like Chrissy Thompson, the animated Chrissie also wears braces on her legs and uses crutches to help her walk.
