THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHIVE - All Things Mister Rogers

Casper

In the 1995 film Casper, the title character is longing for a friend and finds himself sadly distracting himself with the television. As he changes channels, a short clip of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is seen on screen.

Notes

Although this clip features Mister Rogers asking, "Did you ever feel like the way Priscilla Cow felt?", it is not a clip from Episode 1300 -- the Potato Bugs and Cow opera. The clip seen in Casper actually comes from Musical Stories -- a VHS release which features this opera. This is verified not only by the dialogue but by the fact that Mister Rogers is wearing a red sweater. On Episode 1300, his sweater is blue.
