Daniel Tiger and his friends are playing in a pretend castle at school when the play get too rough for Daniel. Daniel would prefer to play by himself and Teacher Harriet suggests that "Sometimes you want to be alone. You can find a place of your very own."

Finding a quiet spot at the classroom easel, Daniel draws a castle and make-believes that he is playing inside.

After some time away, Daniel returns to playing with his friends. With Prince Wednesday pretending to be a dragon threatening the castle, O the Owl steps away to consult his book about dragons. O reads his book in the classroom's book corner and discovers that a moat can protect a castle from dragons.

When O returns to his friends, they pretend there is a moat around their castle. Katerina goes inside the castle and finds it to be a quiet place she can enjoy by herself. The friends all understand that even though they like playing together, time alone is needed, too.
