Daniel Tiger is making music with Margaret using their homemade instruments. As Mom Tiger walks Daniel to his play date with O the Owl and Katerina Kittycat, Daniel sings "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with his sister.

At the tree, Daniel joins his friends as they play ladybugs. When Mom Tiger says Margaret has to go home for a nap, Daniel feels sad even though he's happy to play with his friends. Mom Tiger reminds him: "Sometimes you feel two feelings at the same time, and that's okay." Daniel understands that he can play with Katerina and O now and play with Margaret later.

Daniel make-believes that he's riding on a ladybug.

X the Owl shows the friends how to fly a kite but they have trouble keeping it in the air. O the Owl is angry about the kite even though he's happy to be playing with his friends. X explains to O that he is feeling ambivalent and encourages him to keep trying.
