Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat are playing super hero dress-up and are about to "rescue" Tigey. They use Margaret's baby rattle as a signal to Tigey that help is on the way.

Mom Tiger calls for help as she puts the finishing touches on a table she is making for Daniel's playhouse. She explains to Daniel that "if there's something you need, try to make it yourself." Making something by yourself can make you happy and proud. Daniel and Katerina hold the final table leg in place as Mom Tiger attaches it.

Margaret becomes upset when Daniel and Katerina continue playing with the rattle. Leaving the "super" friends without a signal, they decide to try and make a replacement themselves. Inside the house, they use small containers filled with dry rice and beans to make their own rattles.

Daniel make-believes that he is jumping around inside a bouncing world -- just like the beans inside the homemade rattle.

Outside, Katerina wants to use her "super hero wand" to open the playhouse door. When she realizes that it is not in her backpack, she uses craft supplies to make a new one.
