Daniel Tiger is at school playing house with Katerina Kittycat and becomes angry when Prince Wednesday wants to play "scary bears" instead. Teacher Harriet encourages the friends to share their feelings with each other: "It helps to say what you're feeling." When they do, they understand each other and come to a compromise.

Daniel make-believes that he is singing about different feelings.

Daniel makes pretend pancakes but frustrates Katerina when he acts like a silly chef and puts them on his head. Katerina expresses her feelings to Daniel and they find an agreeable way to play together. Together they realize that different people can have different feelings about the same situation.
