Daniel Tiger finds a present for his mom on the front step. Mom Tiger opens the box to find that it is a package of sunflower seeds from Lady Elaine Fairchilde. After planting the seeds with his mom, Daniel continues to help by watering the seeds and flowers. This makes Daniel feel good and he decides that he would like to do something nice for all of his neighbors. He and Mom Tiger set out to give sunflowers to all of their friends.

At the treehouse, Daniel gives X the Owl a flower before O the Owl and Katerina Kittycat come along to help give out the rest. When they see Mr. McFeely, they give him a flower before offering to deliver the rest of his packages to Music Man Stan.

Outside the music shop, Doctor Anna drops an apple from her bag of groceries and Daniel is quick to lend a hand. Inside the shop, Music Man Stan opens his packages to find two things -- a picture of himself playing music with Baker Aker as well as a collection of new instruments for the shop. To do something nice for Music Man Stan, the children put away the new instruments.

Music Man Stan has a kazoo he would like to give to Baker Aker and Daniel offers to deliver it for him. Miss Elaina tags along as they go to the bakery. Inside the bakery, Baker Aker is making cupcakes for King Friday and the children help him clean up his kitchen. Prince Wednesday arrives for the cupcakes and offers his help, as well.

As King Friday arrives on the Trolley, he declares that today is Neighbor Day and commends the children for their kind deeds.
