Daniel Tiger is playing library at O the Owl's treehouse with O and Katerian Kittycat. O knows the rules of the library since his uncle X is a librarian. After looking at a book about animals, the friends use O's telescope to spot animals around the Neighborhood. When they see a family of squirrels, Daniel make-believes that he is getting ready for bed with the squirrels.

When Henrietta Pussycat arrives, Katerina is having such a good time that she does not want to leave. Henrietta tells her that "it's almost time to stop" so she can "choose one more thing to do." Katerina decides that she would like to look for a baby bird in the telescope. After she spots one, it is time for her to head home with her mother. Just like a real library, O loans Katerina the book about animals.

O and Daniel look at a book about animals that live under water and pretend that they are a turtle and a whale. Dad Tiger arrives to take Daniel home and finds Daniel is not ready to leave. Given the chance to find one more thing to do, Daniel decides to spend a few more minutes pretending to be a turtle while his Dad takes a picture.
