Daniel Tiger and his dad receive a letter from Grandpere including a photo from his fishing trip. Seeing how much his dad enjoyed receiving the letter, Daniel decides to write a letter of his own to his dad. As Mom Tiger reminds him, making something is one way to say "I love you."

Mom Tiger helps Daniel write the letter and they head to the post office to mail the letter. At the post office, Daniel make-believes that the packages sing about what they have inside them. Mr. McFeely happily accepts the letter and briefly explains how mail is sorted.

Daniel and his mom join Mr. McFeely as he sets out to deliver mail around the Neighborhood. When the letter is delivered to Daniel's dad, Dad Tiger is very happy to recieve the special letter from his loving son.
