I have to say that even though, as I keep saying, DTN is no MRN at all, and that's still true, when looking at the crayon factory episode yesterday, I have to say it was handled in a very similar way, and therefore was just good, if not better, than it is in MRN episode 1481. And in fact, for a minute when looking at the factory scenes, it really for a minute, made me feel like I was watching 1481. And not just that, but there's a classic scene from the crayon factory on Sesame Street as well, so it brought back those memories. It's interesting also that this time of year was just 1481's annual occasion time in 1990-1995 and 2001-2008, but that's not what ultimately caused the flashback. Does anyone agree that the crayon factory was handled in a similar way than it was on MRN 1481, and more than anything else so far on the show with a MRN reference? Maybe the anything else is pushing it, but do you agree about the crayon factory for both 1481 and the classic Sesame Street?

I still feel 1481 handled it better, probably due to the still camera shooting (instead of panning around) hence giving a better view.

The DTN 'factory' seems to have borrowed the piston rod and wheel off Cornflake's factory, I notice.

I thought that the visit to a crayon factory was very reminiscent of MRN and Sesame Street, and I thought that was a really clever idea.
