Dreams about the show

I just had a very weird, but awesome dream about the outro music of MRN recently. I dreampt that, instead of John Costa, that was actress Marilu Henner that performed the show's outro music! Even the pre-79 ones. That's really weird, considering she was only 17 or 18 when the Tomorrow song was performed and would've been busy doing TAXI when the post-75 episodes premiered.
But it was cool. I remember in my sleep, i was thinking "Wow, no wonder i'm a huge fan of this actress! Not only is she a loveable actress, she's also a great pianist!  ;D" and then waking up realizing "Wait a minute, she didn't perform the outro music  :(. That was John Costa. What a shame."

Ever since that dream, as i listen to my outro music, i like to pretend/try to picture Henner sitting at the piano playing that lovely music instead of John  ;). Not just with John's music, but even Michael Moricz's, too.

I had another really weird MRN-related dream last night.  In the dream, they decided to create a new episode of MRN, Episode 1766.  It even had the 1766 in the opening credits.  In this episode, since Fred is obviously dead, they found someone who looked like Fred, and they made him up to look like Fred, and even autotuned his voice to sound like Fred!  However, he had only a small role, and mostly just introduced the NOM.  In the NOM, it was mostly just Lady Aberlin talking with a guest star.  I'm not 100% sure who the guest star was, but it may have been Katy Perry.  I do not remember if there were any puppets in the dream, but I'm thinking Daniel and Henrietta may have been in it.  I don't remember if they talked at all.

Interestingly, around the same time, I had another dream involving Katy Perry (it wasn't MRN-related, so I won't post it here), which took place on July 16, 2013 (more exactly, it took place in a location where I was that day in real life).  I found out that Katy Perry's divorce was initiated on Dec. 30, 2011 and finalized on July 16, 2012.  Remember, in my MRN-related dream, she was talking with Betty, who we all know was born on Dec. 30!  So that might explain why she and Betty were talking with each other in the MRN-related dream, and why I had another dream about her taking place July 16.

Also, interestingly, Dec. 30, 1983 (exactly 28 years earlier, which is one full calendar cycle) is the last known airdate for 8 months, and one of the keys to figuring out the schedules from the early 80s.  Ironically, 1020, one of the honeymoon episodes, aired that week.  Interestingly, before we got a copy of the 1984-85 schedule (the earliest printed schedule that the general public seems to have access to), the week of Katy Perry's birth (she was born Oct. 25, 1984) was the earliest week that anyone seemed to actually remember.  1469 aired that day, which is an episode that has been recently discussed, since it is one of the very few that wasn't released to Amazon, although an episode probably all of us have seen.

I'm wondering if the dream that I had involving Katy Perry being on MRN could have to do with the fact that Katy Perry's song "By the Grace of God" has the line "The Truth will set you free", and Fred has a song by that name (used in the frequently discussed Episode 1210, among others).

I posted in another thread that you probably think I'm a nut, but I actually think that Katy Perry would have been good for Betty's role as Lady Aberlin if MRN were on the air today.

I had another dream involving MRN.  I was watching an episode where Mr. Rogers was showing a record player.  The episode was edited so that Mr. Rogers said that he has a smartphone called Smarty.  But the editing was very poor, and it was very obvious that it was edited.  Plus, smartphones did not really exist in Fred's lifetime.  Fred then talked about all the different ways in which music can be listened to, and mentioned record players, cassette tapes, CDs, and then it was obviously edited to include smartphones.  Also, the edited voice sounded very robotic, and not really like Fred at all.  Interestingly, the episode did not mention 8 tracks, but I guess they were obsolete before CDs were invented.

I forget all the dreams I had. I remember one where I was talking to Mr. Rogers in Pittsburgh around real life trolleys. It was probably about trolley lines that don't exist anymore.

I think I would also dream about seeing the first and last episodes or being there.

I always wondered about where the trolley goes on the way from the television house to the Neighborhood of Make Believe. I realized it must have been two different sets. I always liked when Mr. Rogers would turn the camera and show behind the scenes. I wish there was a complete tour of the entire studio from outside on the real street all the way to the television house and the Neighborhood of Make Believe.
