Hello to all on this neighborhood message board. I was wondering if anyone knows if The Fred
Rogers Company will be releasing 45, 84, 1055, 1169, 1370 operas that Tim has shared on the
neigborhood archive site. Including the 1125 & 1245 operas. I think an idea would be to release
the entire week so we can see them make all the preparations and rehearsal that lead up to
the actual opera. The typical price range on a complete weeks worth of shows on dvd through
amazon is $29.99. I think the pre-79s are worth every single penny, it can be steep if you
are on a tight budget.

I am guessing Fred Rogers Company has to have enough interest in the earlier yrs of the series.
Beable to earn enough sales to continue to release more episodes over time. If releasing dvds
at that price as supose to digtial downloads or streaming with amazon prime is the only way
to ensure more pre-79s be release. I hope we all do our parts to ensure we will get as many as
possible release.

I had suggested that idea on another thread (the one about 1125).  Unfortunately, Betty Aberlin said that although she agrees with me, the suits at FCI do not agree.  :(

The only Opera I remember seeing on TV was the short necked giraffe one. It would be nice to see the others someday.

The first opera I had on tape was Josephine the Short Necked Giraffe, but the first one I saw as an older kid was a granddad for daniel.
