My daughter and I just finished watching this episode together thanks to the Neighborhood Archive guiding our choice for today.
And Lawrence, I had not realized this was the week that you visited!
What a wonderful notion for me to attach to this particular show, the fact that you were there!
Somehow, you caught quite a lucky break by being a part of this!
I'd like to know how that all came about, being that it was not the norm, to allow families into the studio like this.

Bob Trow was such a tremendous artist and the chalk portraits he showcased are phenomenal.
Not only were the portraits fantastic, but I was very moved by the farm scene, sort of a monochromatic with the fence in the foreground.
I wanted to look at it much longer and am wondering where it is now!
Wouldn't it be great to have prints of all of these works of art...

I'm actually an artist myself. I like to draw the neighborhood of make believe, and anything from Mister Rogers. I actually completed a huge drawing with nothing but stuff from Mister Rogers Neighborhood, past and present. Anyway, thanks for posting this week.

If you'd be interested in sharing your work, please let me know and I'd be glad to post it on the blog.

The Trolley made out of blocks was my idea and you will see that and the beginning of this Episode  also my visit to the neighborhood came about a person who went to seminary school with Fred and then became my aunts boss and Fred did a favor for him and then he return a favor back to Fred and that is how my family and I got to meet Fred Rogers the man's name is Mr. Tim Dalrymple

Thank you, Lawrence.
That was a wonderful explanation of how your visit came to be.
And what a neat thing to know that using the blocks to make a trolley was your idea that Fred incorporated into the television visit.
How wonderful for you!
