These keep coming up on ebay, I don't know if someone has these mixed up with another program but people claim these are Mister Rogers puppets.  Are these figures from Mister Rogers on CBC?

I don't think so. As far as I'm concerned, these are junk that people are trying to pass off as MR characters to make a buck.

See them all the time and always wonder why anyone would even make the assumption that they are MRN puppets.

Personally, I don't think it's intentional deception, I just think it's laziness and stupidity. If there's a three-finger-style puppet on eBay, there's a 50/50 chance the seller will say it was a character on MRN. They don't bother to do any research; I think they figure it doesn't really matter. Very frustrating, particularly if you ARE looking for MRN puppets!
