Some people may remember 16 yrs ago this week PBS was airing reruns of 1386-1390 from 1974. Also this was the last time any pre-79 week was rebroadcasted. This week was seen during 92-94 yrs of summer as
well.

Thanks for posting. I did not realize that any pre-79 episodes were shown after 1992 or so.

I was elementary school age when those last aired.  I'm a little surprised that they ran the pre-79s as long as they did into the 90s.  Although I can't understand why they can't run MRN in the middle of the night to fill airtime.  My local PBS station still shows Bob Ross Joy of Painting shows.  That man has been dead for years.  I know for the longest time they ran that crazy Destinos spanish soap opera into the ground.  I hated that program.  It was worse when I had to take spanish in school, I get a double whammy of that tv show in class.
