Weird thing I've noticed

In the pre-79 episodes, many episodes have the copyright of the year the show aired, and the year following it.

Examples:
Season 5: Copyright 1972, 1973 Family Communications Inc.
Season 6: Copyright 1973, 1974 Family Communications Inc.
Season 7: Copyright 1974, 1975 Family Communications Inc.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Most likerly that means that the production was done the previous year, but the shows were aired the following year.

I don't think so.  There are definitely episodes that have one of the copyright dates later than the original airdate.  Maybe the episodes were edited a year later?

The pre-79s have weird copyright dates, but almost all post-75s have the year of the original airdate as its copyright date.  The only exception is Superheroes, which has a 1979 copyright date but first aired Feb. 4-8, 1980.  I often wondered if it was originally intended to air in October 1979 but was postponed to February for some reason.

No, I mean some episodes have a copyright date of the year after it aired.

All of the years from 1968-1975 usually debuted in January instead of September which would of meant that they would of probably began taping shows late the previous year. However I don't think anyone has ever solved the mystery on why would of put 1972-1973- etc. for the next 2 seasons.

I think as we near closer to the end of days, more information is going to come out about how time works, Mister Rogers Neighborhood played a strange roll in the space time continuum; and as I'm sure if you ignore how ludicrous this sounds you'll be able to come up with your own examples, including specific years, dates when mister rogers began to be pulled away from television more "strange" and awful things have been happening with more frequency. anyway, I'm not sure if the episode dates are connected to this, but there was a tug in space time around 76-82 in our timeline almost which would probably be better described as a hole, where things...kinda were, but kind weren't...honestly hard to put into words .. alright well, hope I offered some kinda help :)
