Episode 1460 (the last episode of the 1976 Remembering week) was skipped for some reason this year.   It wasn't last year.

Also, I would like to know if they aired the Christmas Special, I don't think so but finger's crossed.

It's most unlikely that they showed the Christmas special since that show is no longer in print. I heard that they don't have that avaialble and is now lost. A very unfortunate thing to have happen.

Thanks for the info. :) With all the rare Christmas specials on youtube, maybe it will pop up out of nowhere.

I assure you that the Christmas special is not lost.

Notice that Tim has photos from that episode, just like all other episodes.  If Fred was still alive, I wonder whether or not he would have made at least some of these episodes available to us mere mortals, rather than available to just a select few such as Tim and SnowPeck.

Mr. Rogers would make them all available for free to view online. After all, he supported the use of VCRs to tape shows and testified to Congress. Viewing online is today's version of a VCR.

Exactly!  That is what makes FCI especially hypocritical.  Also, Fred always said that everybody is special, not that only a few individuals are special.  I'm sure somebody here will come back with a line like "life isn't fair, and not everybody equal".  True, but that was not what Fred preached.

Sure about that?

I've read over the years Mr. Rogers made sure every episode was preserved.
