Wow, that was very unexpected of Twitch. I didn't except them to re-run the marathon till next month at least.  Thanks for sharing the news, neighbor. It'll be fun binge-watching the entire series again just like last year!

Can you watch it on demand? Most people can't sit in front of the computer for hours to watch every episode.

Does it include black and white episodes and all the 1960's and 1970's episodes?

After the 90-episode best-of marathon, they will start from episode 1 in 1968, and go all the way through the end of the run in 2001.   There are a handful of '60-70s episodes that were skipped last time around (and probably will be again), along with the entire "banned" Conflict week from the 1983, but otherwise the entire run is represented.

They've started the best-of marathon with the first two episodes of the Superheroes week from 1980.   I'm guessing they're going to air the whole week.  I wonder if the entire 90-episode marathon will consist of week-long blocks.

The skipped episodes would be 1047, 1355, 1403, 1407 unless they corrected whatever issues those were, same with 1311 being incomplete! If the twitch marathon is too much, amazon has 100 episodes with prime, add on pbs kids channel on there get 1979-2001 episodes minus 1468, 1469, 1521 thru 1525, plus 75 episodes from 1968 season. Free trial, but then require payment if you want to continue!

Does anybody know why 1047, 1355, 1403, and 1407 didn't air?  Maybe not having the rights to certain material or guest stars?  Tim has all of those episodes, so they obviously exist, and based on the descriptions, I don't see any content related reasons to skip them.

Apparently in chat it was said the first twelve episodes were skipped and started with episode 13!

And now, after getting up to episode 1019, the stream rewound to episode 15.   Weird.

EDIT:  And 1020 is airing now, so I guess this was just a one-off mistake.

Twitch's way of working things can be quite weird sometimes, yet amusing.  ;D

I went to sleep after watching  1075 and woke up to the stream cutting out with a black screen and weird music, and from what is being said on chat it went out around 2 am CT which by my estimation would have been around 1080, hopefully it will be fixed and pick up from where they were when it cut out,  nothing like that happened the last one

Edit: It is back on now and right now they are on 1049 so it seems they are where they were yesterday at this time

I also went to bed after 1075 (had to catch Bob Dog's first week!), and was wondering where it left off.    I guess I won't be missing anything tonight!

mjb1124

I was told they skipped some episodes at some point last night, and will run them tomorrow.    They were in the second week of 1971 around 9-10 AM (Eastern) this morning, which I thought seemed a bit hasty.   Anyone know which ones were skipped exactly?

Darn I wish I knew about this ahead of time. They're almost at the end of the pre-79's and I'm not really interested in the later shows.

Someone at Dailymotion has a Mr. Rogers channel and has some uploaded but hasn't uploaded anything new in a while.

So much for that.

You got that right.
