Did Fred Rogers have pet cats?

I've been lurking here for a long time and finally joined!

With puppets like Henrietta Pussycat, Daniel Striped Tiger, Grandpere and Colette, Mister Rogers was clearly a fan of cats. Did he have pet cats? I can't remember if he says anything about his own pets in the Pets week in 1982.

In episode 1669, he mentioned how he used to have a cat named Sybil. Also, in episode 1342, Fred's son John said "My cat Sybil." So I'd say he had a cat at one point, but I'm not sure about when he was young.

Also, in Episode 68, Fred shows his cat named Blackberry.

In Episode 1103, Betty visits with a cat named Daniel.  I wonder if that was her cat in real life.

Episodes 78 and 1039 feature a cat named Pink Paws.   In the former episode, he's supposed to be Mr. McFeely's cat, but in the latter episode he identifies it as his own cat and shows a film of him and Jamie taking Pink Paws to the vet.

I remember an episode where someone's cat was lost. I forget whose cat it was but I remember Chuck Aber brining it back to Mr. Rogers' television house or maybe it was Chuck's cat and Mr. Rogers gave it back to him.  There was the song where he changed the words of "but the very same people that good sometimes are the very same people that are bad sometimes". Instead of people, he said kitties.

I saw that on YouTube. He always called them kitties. Even in the opera "A Star For Kitty", before it began he said "Lady Aberlin is pretending she's a kitty".

I wonder whether Pink Paws belonged to Fred or to David.  I'm guessing Fred, if there was a video of he and Jamie taking him/her to the vet.

I'm guessing that Fred had Pink Paws, Blackberry, and Sybil all at the same time.

I saw the "It's You I Like" special.  When Fred showed the video of kittens being born, he used the word "cat".  Even if he often said "kitties", he definitely also said "cat" too.

I don't know for sure if Daniel from 1103 was named after Daniel Striped Tiger, but I'm guessing he was.
