Like other new experiences in our lives, starting school can bring mixed feelings. Watching this DVD can encourage children to talk about what they might be thinking and feeling. Such communication is one of the best ways to help children prepare for the changes that are ahead.

Episode 1 - Mister Rogers Goes To School

Mister Rogers introduces viewers to a school bus driver. She shows him around the bus and takes him for a ride! In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, it's the first day of school for Anna, Prince Tuesday and Daniel. They find out how good it can feel to learn something new.

Episode 2 - Learning

The children at the school in Make-Believe have a big decision to make. Which is a better way to learn -- taking field trips or using a fancy "learning machine"? In the end, they work together to find a solution!
