RARE: Did You Know - Costa Plays the Neighborhood (1985)
« on: March 30, 2012, 08:04:17 PM »
I found a gem in a haystack!  Go to this web site:  http://wmbr.org/cgi-bin/arch

Click on Coffeetime (March 30th), you might have to right click and send it to Windows Media Player and fast forward to one hour and 45 minutes and a few seconds later you will hear an instrumental version of Did You Know done by the Johnny Costa Trio (the band that played along with Fred).  This entire album really needs to be re-released.  It's an awesome version.

That sounds just like it. Sounds like one of the transition song you hear when we go on a "field trip" with Mister Rogers.

I would love to see this album remastered and re-released at some point. Until then, the LP does pop up on ebay occasionally. What a wonderful collection...

This is a really good album to have. I recommend snapping up a copy if you can find it. I did, and haven't regretted it one moment. What a talented set of musicians.
