Hello, TL!
I'd like to solve some mysteries about the rotation of closing songs used during the 1972 season. This is the year when the closing changed from "Tomorrow" on Monday-Thursday and "The Weekend Song" on Friday, to the "It's Such A Good Feeling/Weekend Song" combo on all days. The episode guide at The Mister Rogers Society indicates a transitional period of sorts between 1201-1245, and the Archive's listings for "Good Feeling" for 1215 and "Tomorrow" for 1216 seem to confirm this. Episode 1205 is the first to list "Good Feeling" at the end, 1230 is the last to list the original "Weekend Song", and 1244 is the last to list "Tomorrow" (other than 1459 and some presumably erroneous listings from later years).
So far, the Archive's listings for this season have been consistent with the ones at The Mister Rogers Society. But there are some obvious mistakes there: 1221 and 1243 (non-Friday episodes) have "The Weekend Song" listed, while 1230 and 1239 don't list any closing song. (For the record, they don't usually list the altered/abbreviated "Weekend Song" separately from "Good Feeling".) So I'd like to know what the actual closing songs for those episodes are, and possibly confirm or refute other listings.
To sum it up, any episodes not already posted from the 1201-1244 window would be welcome, but I'd especially be interested in 1205, 1210 (the parking ticket episode which geronimojackson also requested), 1220, 1221, 1230, 1239, 1243, and 1244. I'd also be interested in 1196 (possibly the last episode with the original non-closing "Good Feeling") and 1200 (possibly the second-to-last episode with the original "Weekend Song").
And thanks so much for reaching out to us! This neighbor really appreciates it.
