Goodnight God song
« on: February 24, 2012, 08:47:58 PM »
After many years, I have located a song I taught children when I taught school in the 70s.  It is called "Goodnight, God," and is sung at the end of the fifth episode (end of week#1) of Mister Roger's Neighborhood in 1968.  I have even found a picture of the sheet music.  Does anybody know how I might get ahold of the actual sheetmusic?  I would like to teach it to my grandchildren as a nighttime prayer.  I appreciate any help I can get.

Once in a while I see it pop-up on Ebay.

Of all Mister Rogers songs, this is definitely one of my favorites. Here is a link to one other version of the sheet music I've come across.

Both of these have showed up on ebay a time or two over the past few years. Definitely hard to come by but it's certainly out there for anyone patient enough to keep a regular eye on ebay.
