Comments/Suggestions about Archive Site
« on: September 26, 2011, 01:19:08 AM »
Here are a few suggestions that I thought of.

Considering the fact that this is a Mister Rogers archive site - a picture of DTN characters on the front page is a bit out of place.  I think it's fine having a section for DTN material, but not a picture on the front page.

I think it would be awesome if you could maybe color match the pre-79 "tan walls" and use that as your background color on the archive site.  And use dark brown (as the wood from inside the tv studio) as your box color for headings.  It would give a sort of "throwback" color to the archive site.

I think the buttons on the right hand side are fine.

I completely disagree. These new characters are based on those created by Fred Rogers and a new program produced by the company he started is HUGE news for those interested in Fred's legacy. As far as I'm concerned, this new program deserves much more than the simple picture/link on the main page of the Archive site.
