Evolution of the Puppets
« on: August 29, 2011, 10:53:31 PM »
There are various versions of the puppets used over the years and it may be kind of fun to do a section (in the Neighborhood Archive) on the puppets as well as the Neighborhood setting.  I guess it was Children's Corner where there was a picture of a throne with King Friday with a calendar, then there was a gigantic poster of a castle for the King, to the massive castle prop in Canada, then to the WQED version of the castle.  It maybe interesting to show the evolution of the Neighborhood as well as the characters.  There have been different versions of Lady Elaine, Henritta and even Daniel.

You've read my mind. I've actually had three or four other people contact me recently with a very similar idea. This is something that I've actually be planning to do as soon as I get through the rest of the modern episodes. Ultimately, I'd like for each cast and character page to include not only links to the episodes they appeared in (as they do now) but also images, descriptions, bios, notes, etc. I'm hoping to get started on a lot of this later this fall. Thanks for the suggestion.

It might be fun to do descriptions of different places and things too.
