'68 Assasination Special
« on: June 02, 2011, 10:56:06 PM »
As you watch the video on Fred Rogers Center's online exhibit this special really shows raw emotion.  I've never seen this before until tonight and just looking into Betty's eyes as Daniel asks her about the word assasination you can just see it in her eyes.  You have all these political figure assasinations and Vietnam is about to explode -- it must've been a really difficult time in America.  I've read where Fred worked all night on that episode.

I wish all television programs could be like Mister Rogers. It's programs like this that teach children important things about life, and that it's ok to tell a person if you're feeling sad about something. :)
