Fred Rogers Center Archives Question?
« on: September 03, 2011, 05:47:45 PM »
Has anyone visited The Fred Rogers Center? Had the time to watch a few episodes in their full length? I am curious does it connect the same way as it appears on this link? I can't seem to access the video even thou it looks like it wants to load but then fails!

http://biblio.stvincent.edu:2082/search~S3?/YProgram+1114&searchscope=3&SORT=DZ/YProgram+1114&searchscope=3&SORT=DZ&extended=0&SUBKEY=Program+1114/1%2C6%2C6%2CB/frameset&FF=YProgram+1114&searchscope=3&SORT=DZ&3%2C3%2C

I would appreciate any assistance, especially from those who have visited The Fred Rogers Center!

The Fred Rogers Center Archives video collection is pretty much closed to the public - only those who are doing "scholarly" research on child development are allowed to use it.  Even then you have to fill out forms, a bunch of red tape.  I have already "gone a round" with the archivist about this.  I have to wonder just how much "scholarly" research is actually being done.  Give me a break.
